An old one-seed juniper along the Rio Grande Gorge in New Mexico (yet again the tree in my last few posts; it kept catching my attention over two days). #landscapephotography
Again, an old one-seed juniper on the rim of the Rio Grande Gorge (same juniper in my last post, but different angle & time). #landscapephotography
An old one-seed juniper along the rim of the Rio Grande Gorge in northern New Mexico. This one was the subject of a lot of photos. #landscapephotography
Another Rocky Mountain juniper, this time along the Rio Grande Gorge in northern New Mexico #landscapephotography
Dawn views near Cañon City, Colorado. I really should've shot a vertical pano for the first one. #landscapephotography
Either a one-seed or Rocky Mountain juniper in a very red portion of Colorado. #landscapephotography
Another shot from a snowstorm a few winters ago. It's somewhat rare for conditions in Michigan to make me genuinely excited to get outdoors with a camera, so I remember the rush I felt when this storm popped up and snow started sticking to every possible surface. #landscapephotography
Feels like I end up re-cropping a photo a million times if I really like something about it but can't quite settle on the composition. Case with these two, which I also added a white border to as a print mimic; something I haven't bothered trying until now, but I sorta like the results.
Some sunset photos from the Denver area on short outings around town while watching friends' dogs #denver #landscapephotography
Shot in Lake Jeinimeni National Reserve under fairly flat light. Hoping to revisit during better conditions in the future; a few sunrises and sunsets a year would shine onto the rocks. Undoubtedly many better compositions to find. #landscapephotography #chile #patagonia
