Ja, eens. Wat verder speculerend kan het ook zijn dat hij met 70 verplicht is te stoppen - stadsbesturen in middeleeuws Europa hadden soms maximum (en minimum) leeftijden voor gewichtige en gevoelige functies (meestal 60 of 70 als max). Kan me voorstellen dat Boendale's functie daaronder viel...

Researchers estimate that up to 60% of medieval literary works and more than 95% of the manuscripts that once carried them have disappeared over time." 📜🖋️
