Danielle, Spencer and I had so much fun at the Hamburger Social Fly-In at the Beloit Airport! The burgers were delicious, the planes were cool, and we even got a unique selfie while Spencer was flying! Definitely a fun way to spend the evening.
I had so much fun at Rock the Pride! Yellow Brick Road did an excellent job with this year’s event, and it was great to see so many people come together to celebrate. Everyone deserves to live openly, safely, and as themselves.

It was great to have Bob McCallister, Professor Emeritus at UW-Whitewater Rock County, and two of his interns come to Madison to talk about a variety of issues. We had a great conversation about the environment, data centers, Flock cameras, healthcare and more.
On August 11th, Danielle and I celebrated Regina Dunkin Day by grabbing some custard at Culver’s in Beloit! Regina has been an amazing community leader for decades, always finding ways to give back and support the Beloit community.
Sully had a pretty fun stop at the Beloit Skate Park for this week’s #SullySunday! He may not be much of a skateboarder, but he was happy to check the place out and see what all the excitement was about. Beloit has some pretty cool places for people of all ages to get outside and have some fun!
Today was Drew’s last day interning in our office. We’ve really enjoyed having him work with us over the past 8 months. Drew quickly became well liked around the Capitol, especially for his “Donut Thursday” idea. He may be moving on, but we’ll be keeping the tradition going!
Danielle and I had so much fun at Taco Takedown! It was tough to pick a favorite because every taco was so good! We also loved getting to catch up with so many familiar faces and friends throughout the event. What a great night! We’re already looking forward to next year’s Taco Takedown!
I want to give a big shoutout to Dan and Ellen with Not Today Training Inc. for the incredible work they are doing to make our community safer. I had the chance to see them at the Rock County Fair, where they were teaching people hands-only CPR and other lifesaving skills. (1/4)

It’s #SullySunday! Today Sully checked out Dr. George W. Hilliard Park on Beloit’s southeast side. Located at 1443 Athletic Avenue, this 6-acre park is home to some of the largest trees in the city, along with a disc golf course, swings, and a new playground installed in 2025.
I was excited to join the Janesville League of Women Voters, Town Hall Coalition, and many other great organizations for an important conversation about the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.(1/3)

It was great to be out at the Beloit Kuub Open this weekend! I love seeing Beloit welcome both local teams and teams traveling from outside the area to come play and compete here.
It was great to stop by the Beloit City Wide Youth Softball end-of-season tournament! Seeing so many kids out there having fun, playing softball, and enjoying time with their teammates was awesome. (1/3)

Danielle and I had so much fun at the Rock County Fair! The rides, food, animals, and vendors were all fantastic this year. It was great getting out, enjoying the fair, and spending time with our community!
It was great celebrating National Night Out in Beloit! I always enjoy getting out to as many neighborhood block parties as possible and seeing neighbors come together. It’s especially great to see our community interacting with our first responders who work hard to keep Beloit safe.
It’s #CityHallSelfieDay! I’m proud to represent two cities and one village in the 45th District. I had to stop by Beloit and Evansville City Hall and Orfordville Village Hall to celebrate!
