61 years ago today, Medicare and Medicaid were signed into law. Millions of Americans have been able to receive health care as a result. Instead of strengthening these programs, Donald Trump and congressional Republicans are slashing funding and introducing uncertainty.

America, that is called stagflation and it is really, really bad. Democrats delivered an growing economy with rising wages and Republicans burned it down (again) with billionaire tax cuts, deregulatory “diarrhea lettuce” policies, and flat out corruption. You deserve better.

For all their talk about personal liberties and small government, this is the Republican Party of today. They want a police state where they are free to control your body and track your every move, especially if you’re a woman.
