Scott Cawthon went through a lot before he made the game, the long dark tea time of the soul, but through perseverance he was able to lean into his skills and make a media juggernaut! There is something very admirable about that! youtu.be/Z4dGGOgqrqo#... #videogames #mascothorror #podcast

Nightmare mode in Choo Choo Charles is terrifying and difficult!

Choo Choo Charles is actually a Mascot Horror that I like! I think it's decently made, has a sense of humor about itself, and driving the little train around is just fun to me! youtu.be/_LuR1ddh8E4

Why won't Choo Choo Charles leave me alone?

The most disappointed I have ever been in opening a box.

Homefront: The Revolution is an odd game. It definitely has some love behind it, but then there are really obvious flaws. The game play is decent, but it goes on too long. The story is interesting, but it's full of filler. Listen to the podcast to see what games we replace it! #podcast #videogames

Here's some of the actual arcade games! This arcade is called One Eyed Billys and it's one of my favorite locations. Get a stone fired pizza and a large lemonade and go stand on the bridge over the water feature. It has the "vibe" #podcast #videogame #thecoingame #arcade #coinpusher #pirate

The Coin Game is a fun experience and a great time waster. Doing chores in real life sucks, but digital chores? You better believe I am babysitting these robot kids every day and taking all that money to the arcade! #videogames #Thecoingame #arcade #podcast

Ai in this game is so busted that it would be sad if it wasn't so funny! It seeps it's way into almost every game mode and just makes it impossible to enjoy the game as it was meant to be. Look for our Little Chill episode coming out this Saturday! #videogames #driving #racing #podcast #npc #ai

This game is hard in an unfun way. It manages to make throwing Uwel Boll through a car window frustrating. www.instagram.com/reel/Db8xyRB... #videogames #driving #racing #podcast #Uweboll

In ep 05 we talked about Flatout 3 and we wanted to share with you just how bad it could be with this clip of the Nightdrive mode! Pay attention to the beginning of the race and how the NPC driver takes off, never to be seen again. Also, a nice glitch as a treat! www.tiktok.com/@replay_or_r...

Our next Substack article comes out on noon Saturday! We are talking about the mixed messaging of the Borderlands series in how it depicts capitalism. Subscribe for an article every month going deeper into a thought from our podcast! replayorreplace.substack.com #borderlands #podcast #capitalism

While trying to find vocal clips for our latest episode our editor had to listen to this to find a specific line! He searched through all the psycho lines at 2x speed to find it. The doctors say that he will never fully recover. Take a listen of the latest episode and let us know if it was worth it

You don't know your squirrels, do you. Deadly Premonition was the second game we played, and we had some problems with it. It's extremely unique but a lot of the indulgences and time wasting pulls it down #videogames #deadlypremoniton #badvideogames #horror #twinpeaks #weird #ps3 #xbox360

Normally I like fishing minigames but the sound effects and the music ruin any kind of relaxing atmosphere they could have created. Like my other post this is from a YouTube video. www.youtube.com/@dumlepumle/... #videogames #deadlypremoniton #badvideogames #horror #twinpeaks #weird #ps3 #xbox360

I'm having trouble getting Deadly Premonition running on my PC again, so I am borrowing some clips. Check out Welcome to Greenvale on YouTube! They have done a great job at archiving Deadly Premonition! www.youtube.com/@shshattered...

Agent Frances York Morgan, driving in the rain, talking about the masochistic relationship between Tom and Jerry on the phone, smoking, using his laptop. Are those squirrels at the end, or monkeys? #videogames #Deadlypremonition #badvideogames #horror #japanesegame #twinpeaks

This is the last Harvester clip I'm going to post and coincidentally it's the intro to the game! I love these old logos for small companies and the absolutely crunchy graphics. The empty locations and the ominous music really set the mood. #Harvester #videogames #pointandclick #90s #90svideogames

Before I finish up I just wanted to show you my least favorite part of the game! Harvester's "combat" is some of the worse you will ever see! The tech people who made the gameplay actually had to push the game back 3 months so give us this wonderful piece of terrible 90s videogames!

My favorite part of this scene is that it is completely pointless. There is no puzzle to solve, no item to pick up. You don't have to talk to this character to advance the game or even visit this screen!Harvester was our first podcast episode #videogames #pointandclick #harvester #90s #90svideogames

Roadrunner cartoons? The director of Harvester, Gilbert Austin, said in an interview: "I was pissed off at all the bullshit about violence in media. I saw it as censorship, which is anathema to any artist." #Harvester #videogames #pointandclick #90s #90svideogames

Editing the podcast can be a little difficult. It's a long process for me still and I have to look up lots of little sound clips and music. Sometimes when I am editing, I get a little bored. A little distracted maybe. Can you blame me? #podcast #editing #bongocat #cutedog #videogames #bored

Harvester is the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to crazy dialogue! How do you think Stepheny died? #Harvester #videogames #pointandclick #90s #90svideogames

The Myster of Religion is a mystery to all of us, unless you are using a walkthrough for 1996 point and click adventure game #Harvester #videogames #pointandclick #90s #90svideogames
