Today, I'm highlighting a one-of-a-kind Chairman, musician and friend. While we are sad to say goodbye to Rep. Eddie Day Pashinski in the PA House, we celebrate his 20 years of service and all the wonderful things to come in his retirement.

My office held a College Resource Fair to help students connect with local universities and learn about financial aid. I also answered questions about my own career journey that led to me becoming Speaker. Thanks to Nichole from my office for organizing and to George for being a panelist!

Just 24 HOURS LEFT: Chair Omar Sabir, Sen. Anthony H. Williams, Rep. Regina Young and I want to remind you that TOMORROW at 5PM is the deadline to request a mail ballot. We’ll be gathering at 6100 Woodland Ave. tomorrow at 9 a.m. to urge everyone to act!

This is an important message: Tomorrow at 5 p.m. is the deadline to apply for a mail ballot in November’s election! Request your mail ballot at vote.pa.gov TODAY OR go in person to your local election office! Get your ballot, fill it out and turn it in on the spot.

Meeting with community groups, celebrating retirements, signing bills— it was a busy week in Harrisburg! Grateful for the opportunity to learn from and connect with the Pennsylvanians I am privileged to serve 💙

Sometimes one little change can make a BIG difference. The House passed a bill allowing Pennsylvanians with communication barriers to voluntarily add a designation to their driver’s license helping make interactions on the road a little easier to navigate. #PAHouse

Yesterday, Rep. Andre Carroll created "Kada Scott Day." The #PaHouse offered our deepest condolences to her parents and family. Kada was a Penn State graduate and a Miss Pennsylvania competitor who had her own clothing brand. She was a beautiful, creative and multitalented young woman.

This week, we bid a fond farewell to colleagues who are wrapping up their time as State Representatives. I'm highlighting 3 of our Chairs, who are retiring after decades of service, starting with Rep. Mary Jo Daley, Chair of the Tourism & Economic & Recreational Development Committee.
