Today is the day our Indian Pueblo bill gets marked up in the Senate! This bill will return almost 10 acres of land to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque. Grateful to our colleagues for their bipartisan support for this bill and the IPCC—which is right in the heart of our community!

It’s past time to BAN CONGRESSIONAL STOCK TRADING!  No member of Congress [or the White House] should be trading stocks. Period. The American people deserve to know their representatives are working for them, not corporations and stock portfolios. It’s time to ban Congressional stock trading.

An honor to join a beautiful afternoon hearing from Dr. Jill Biden and Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham on the power of women in leadership, what it means to be a woman in leadership and public service, and Dr. Biden’s memoir on her time as First Lady. ❤️

I’m proud to co-lead the CDC Tribal Public Health Security and Preparedness Act in the House alongside Sen. Warren, to ensure Tribal public health departments have direct access to federal funding and invest directly in Tribal-led public health programs.

Tribal schools are the heart of our communities & students deserve the resources they need to thrive. This week, I introduced the Indigenous Students Excel Through Parity Acts, which will help increase student funding, teacher pay, & ensure BIE & Tribal schools receive the resources they deserve.

Breaking News today on Todd Blanche’s confirmation vote getting proposed: From his refusal to follow the law in the Epstein case to the DOJ’s anti-weaponization fund, Blanche should not serve as U.S. Attorney General. Call your senators and urge them to vote a hell no on Blanche’s confirmation.

What a way to start the District Work Month! The energy was amazing—and you all SHOWED UP IN FORCE! Shoutout to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center and Little Bear for hosting us! Thank you all for coming out and sharing your thoughts and ideas! Missed me? We’ll have more events soon. ❤️

New Mexicans' voices must be heard! What happened last night in the Doña Ana County Commission hearing over Project Jupiter is unacceptable. New Mexicans have been clear: they don’t want their public lands, waters, and taxpayer dollars going to unchecked and unregulated data centers.

Our teachers need a raise!✏️🍎 Monsoon season is finally here and it’s almost back to school! Today, we’re excited to announce the introduction of two new bills to increase funding for tribal schools and teachers through the Bureau of Indian Education and Tribally-controlled schools. ⬇️
