Last Friday was Purple Heart Day, and I was proud to attend a service at Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge. We recognized the men and women who earned, by merit and physical sacrifice, one of the highest military honors.

This morning for World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, I joined my colleagues, local officials and community members to participate in the Red Sand Project’s installation in Norristown.

Today, July 30, we recognize World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, a time where we continue to raise awareness about human trafficking.

Montgomery County is asking residents to take an online survey and provide biking feedback to help update the Bike Montco 1.5 on-road bicycle plan. The county is focusing on safer routes, better connections and the growing role of e-bikes and e-scooters in our community.
