Just got the 20th automatic reminder from Companies House to verify ID. I have sent screenshots showing it was done yonks ago. Yet they are relentless in their incompetance. They are threatening me about something that they have on record as being done. Do not trust anything they say. Hopeless.

Mornin' Seeing Liberace in a Hi Viz jacket has actually made me think differently. The next time I'm doing half a mile an hour behind some lycra clad mid life crisis on two wheels as we ascend a hill on a single track coast road, I'll imagine them holding a candelabra. youtu.be/Q_rHSTjyWNk?...

Happened to mention to my daughter that a new colleague appeared to be in their mid 20s. "Ah..That'll be Gen Z" she said and then proceeded to give me what I can only describe as a "How to look after your new Gen Z colleague" masterclass. There's a lot of do's and dont's apparently.

Well it's 11.30pm and I suppose I'm not going to get a call asking me to serve in the cabinet. This is the fifth time in just a few years that I have cleared my afternoon so I could take a call from Number 10 and talk about being chancellor or minister for sport or permanently under a secretary.

No idea who is going to be the next chancellor but there's a golden opportunity here to get things back on track and get someone who has no economic qualifications and is male. The only way the markets and media are going to respond positively.
