Moment in life I’ll never get over; dogs and I were mauled by a pit bull on 1/15/21 at 4:23pm on the sidewalk on my own street in a very nice neighborhood. I wish it would fade away but now I’m always on alert; we were almost attacked while walking a few weeks ago. TV show just set me off…
Feelin’ guilty. Maize really into chasing a doe&fawn on walk today. Ran into them 3x. Beep collar didn’t work so vibrated. Vibrated didn’t work so mildest shock. VERY rare use of that setting; 3X in years. Still wouldn’t quit so the ultimate punishment; I put him in the house. No walk 4u. 😔
My Wisdom tooth was pulled Wednesday. My stitch fell out just now; it’s been exactly 4 days. No bleeding. I guess there’s no reason to worry. I’ll just keep swishing with warm, salty water. I thought the stitch would be in longer….
Came across mother raccoon and her 3 kits at the south end of my property a good 3/4 mile from my house. Maize got excited but they were up trees in a flash. They sure cover a lot of ground in their travu

I didn’t put out the leftovers in time; raccoon mom and her three kits were already in my yard.
Excellent news! The fawn I freed from the fence; I just sighted it limping along with its mother! Its leg is in bad shape. I freed it to give it the best chance to survive. It’s all i could do. I really hope it makes it to recovery.

Kinda having a night. I’ve got to get a wisdom tooth pulled tomorrow morning. I don’t like knowing tomorrow will be a day I’d rather avoid. It’s inevitable so just deal with it I suppose. I put my will on the kitchen counter in case things go horribly wrong. I like to prepare for things.
Recovering very well from my surgery; all the scans are gone and I can bend my thumb more easily. Very relieved
