The first car I drove on a regular basis was this tank - a '93 Buick Regal. Suspension was soggy, but it went like the clappers and it was so comfortable. The AC sometimes worked and it drank petrol for fun. But what a time in Tennessee, passed my test in this thing.

Here I go again (on my own) The doctor said it, my therapist said it, and I feel it - it takes a lot to admit it, but I have major depressive disorder. I’m not wearing it like a badge - trust me, but this is bloody hard. Tired, disorganised, nervous system shot, & trying to find the me I remember.
Embrace ai, we're told. But how do you embrace something your job is threatened by? You can learn as much as you like - "don't fear it, learn it." - that's great, but there's still a huge possibility that Claude will just take your job. It's bloody scary - especially as a designer/copywriter.
The 1988 aesthetic for the Netflix series, The Bombing of Pan Am 103 is absolutely incredible - spot-on and very atmospheric. So many little touches. They really did a good job with this.
So last night, I ended up on the balcony at a friend of friend's house - a few drinks, some jazzy house music - and this was the view, which seemed to fit perfectly with the tunes. Austrians, Brits, Americans, and Slovenians. It was one of those perfect summer nights sharing stories and laughs.

I’ve just not had a proper deep sleep since I moved in here. So last night, I took a single mattress and put it in the kitchen which faces the quiet courtyard, away from the bedroom - traffic, rubbish trucks etc. Slept so well. It looks weird and student-like but sleep matters more.
