Next week, we will begin our countdown of the Top 75 All-Time Best Acting Performances, but, today, let us just take a moment to recognize all the great contributors to our project this year! 👏👏👏 @pierrejdupont.bsky.social @screennerdspodcast.bsky.social @revalmanac.bsky.social

Fairly soon, @oscarupsets.bsky.social and I will be recording a new @revalmanac.bsky.social episode on these two films. One a blindspot for me, one for Amanda. But why did we choose these two films? What do they have in common?

Thank you to all the #podsky #horror #classicfilm Butterflies who make Blue Sky so pleasant! #FF @morewolfthanwoman.bsky.social @athomasson11.bsky.social @opinionessworld.bsky.social @gmoatpodcast.bsky.social @revalmanac.bsky.social @heatherjstewart.bsky.social @vampirevideos.co.uk

Coming in at #63 on our list of the Greatest Acting Performances of All-Time, the great Robert DeNiro in Raging Bull (1980). Check out what Andrew Corns of @revalmanac.bsky.social said... #rankings #performance #movie #film #greatest

So nice to get these messages knowing there are people out there desperate for more of my nonsense movie opinions and mischief. Fear not, the show will be coming back with more balance in my life and these almanac episodes will find a place down the line.

While @oscarupsets.bsky.social and I have had fun pimping ourselves out while Andrew's been taking a break, and sharing our "negative energy" and "pointless ramblings" with more people, we are also very excited to have him back.

Leave it to @brittsbyhobnob.bsky.social, who I can never say no to, to get me to fire up the podcast mic again!

An important message about the state of things. Thank you all for having always been there for me. Putting my gratitude into words would be truly impossible.

It’s time to reveal the winners of our 2000 episode voting polls and officially add them to The Revisionist’s Almanac! Thanks again to everyone that voted in the polls last week. Did the choices you voted for end up as winners? Are you surprised by any of the final results? Let me know! #filmsky

Funny story. Six weeks ago, I didn’t have “needs weekly therapy and a lifetime supply of anxiety medication” on my bingo card
