July kept the momentum high at RVL as we carried our birthday energy straight into a fresh month! Our Slack channels stayed lively with 8,705 messages, a slight 6.5% dip from June. It was a month of heavy execution as we balanced 10 active projects and successfully wrapped up 1.

Last week, team RVL headed to Bangalore for #vizchitra2026, India's data visualisation conference! Returning for the second year in a row as co-organisers, attendees, volunteers, and proud silver sponsors, we loved reconnecting with old friends and trading ideas with fellow data viz-ards in India.

How does one visualise transformation driven by collaboration between multiple stakeholder groups? Our solution was to turn it into a puzzle! As part of a recent project with the Consortium for Agroecological Transformations (CAT), we created a series of puzzles that map out the ecosystem of change.

Choosing a colour palette for our latest project ‘The Digital Lives of Young India’ involved finding the right solution to a series of complex considerations.
What do young Indians use and understand the internet? How do they experience the digital world? These were the questions that Quest Alliance sought to find answers to through a survey involving 220 students and their relationship with the internet and social media.
While numbers are often at the heart of what we do at Revisual Labs, sometimes the stories we tell don't have numbers in them.
In many ways, the internet resembles a 'maidan' in India; a vast public space where young people come to reinvent themselves or replicate their lives online.
