and it sucks because my relationship with an institution that helped mold me and so many others has become one of significantly more disdain.
the “Howard haze” is real and unnecessary. yes, other institutions have issues, but to constantly tout yourself as the beacon of “Black excellence” while continuing to make your students and alumni suffer for your consistent inadequacies is beyond laughable. especially when you ask for money
any grace i had for Howard University’s administration is gone. it’s piss poor. it’s been piss poor. and it being an historic Black institution makes it 10x’s worse.
