I think “Choosin’ Texas” is so popular because, to me at least, it sounds a whole lot like 80s pop country. It doesn’t have an 808, so it distinguishes itself from that bro-pop country. Very polished production, as was typical of 80s country. I don’t hate it that that particular sound is returning.

“bUt wOmEn DoNt HaVe PrObLeMs At ThE StAtE lEvEl!” Bullshit. The fuck they don’t. Find the most qualified woman you possibly can, run her *AS A DEMOCRAT* in Arkansas or Oklahoma, then try to sell me that nonsense.

If you don’t think misogyny and racism had anything to do with the 2016 and 2024 elections then you are, in fact, a dipshit who should never comment on politics ever again.

Know why I’m not commenting on the Texas senate race? I’m not a Texan. Same reason I didn’t comment about Maine. I figured it would get sorted out, and it did. I will talk all the shit about Arkansas because I live here. Oklahoma also because I’m Cherokee and their politics still affect me.

We should implement a new rule on state elections (read: everything not a presidential election): If you don’t live in the state in question shut the fuck up. You don’t live there and probably have no clue what it takes to get elected there.

I see the Bluesky Cool Kids Club™ is doing the same thing they did in 2024 and trying to hamstring democrats because they don’t get their perfect candidate. If their actions hurt democrats and help republicans, then they are GOP operatives.

Folks, I don't know how to tell you this, but every last one of these folks had the *same* kind of Principled Reaction to Harris, then Biden before that, then Clinton before that. The advice is always *DON'T VOTE DEM*, and Republicans *could not be happier*.
