Vacation ends Friday. Back to work. 😭 How Staycation went: • caught up on theater movies • Day trip to Philly • Applied to numerous jobs • most of week 1 sick (blame Philly) • read 5.5 books (starting ANGEL DOWN) • 106 pages of medieval horror manuscript done. Hoped to get 2 manuscripts done 😞
Writing "wisdom" I hate: WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW. This is the worst advice ever. It would be better if it was KNOW MORE SO YOU CAN WRITE ABOUT IT. Every good writer I know is constantly researching and getting new information and asking experts. It's a terrible bit of advice!

Really enjoyed SS-GB, had that flare of Forsyth & Higgins that hits me right. I saw Simon West’s 2017 film while waiting for hospital discharge after my appendix operation. Tbh, it was a competently made; but not exhilarating action film. Been wanting to see if the novel is better.
