I lost my Trek Flare R taillight on the very last leg of the STP this year... So darn, guess I was forced to upgrade to the new USB-C versions. Oh no!
After 8 years and probably washing her like 6 times... I've washed, clayed, and buffed/waxed the CRX. Now she'll look good for autocross this Sunday, and then an EF Civic cruise in a couple of weeks. It turned out pretty nice!
Fancy seeing you here Happy #fursuitfriday From my first suiting session as the dapper 🦊🧵: @wyattfox.bsky.social

Please, help us put an end to this hurtful stereotype. Thank you 🧡 w/ @kartfox.bsky.social
Happy Sunday! STP Day 2: Electric Boogaloo ~101 miles to cover today. Weather has been perfect, not too hot, not too cold. I'm a tad saddle sore already, so we'll see how the day shakes out.
Happy Saturday! Time to ride the Seattle To Portland over the next couple of days.
I finally have something official to post for #fursuitfriday! The dreaded fox-iraptor... Rawr! Trying my best to channel my inner dino, inspired by @tearexee.bsky.social and @jurassicbea.bsky.social 📹: @wyattfox.bsky.social (who so graciously let me be Wyatt) 🧵: @onefurallstudios.bsky.social
Dog with a vlog, day two! 📍 Kalaloch Beach, Olympic National Park
The family and I drove 12 hours to go spend the weekend with @wyattfox.bsky.social! Binx handled the drive perfectly, we got to see a bunch of friends, and I fullsuited for the first time as Wyatt with support from @alpineshep.bsky.social! We hit Powell's on the way home, because of course.
My first-ever fullsuit experience and one of my first instincts is to grab a knife and run with it. That fox-induced troublemaking spirit is infectious! Thanks to @wyattfox.bsky.social for the opportunity to be a gremlin!
Fox (𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘯): chaos with a bushy tail 💥🦊💥 Guest starring @rhexsnep.bsky.social !!!
Fantastic day autocrossing with @wraythwolfe.bsky.social and a normie friend! The CRX did perfectly on dual-driver duty, not a single hiccup. It's better than ever and I just want to get more seat time!
The CRX oil temperature sensor is fully wired and working! And she got a fresh oil change, ready for autocross on Sunday. I used a center console trim screw to mount the wires. Everything is solid.
Wired the in-cab portion of the CRX's new oil temp gauge! Took the time to clean up the wiring at the same time by adding some extensions so I can run the wiring behind the center console rather than in front. Now I gotta install the sensor.
Updated pin post to represent the current and hopefully long-term stable! My header still has the deets, but our current cars are: - 1997 Honda Prelude base 5sp - 1991 Honda CRX Si - 1995 Toyota Tacoma - 2005 Toyota Matrix (named Binx) As well as a bunch of bikes now!
Happy father's day, y'all. To those who don't know, my dad passed away about 2½ years ago. I inherited his LeMond Buenos Aires bike, rehabbed it to perfect working order, and rode the Seattle To Portland last year. I'm out again training to do it this year, and got a maple bar in his honor.
Anyone with some expertise that might be able to direct me on how to adjust the playback speed on this Kenwood KRC-502 tape deck? All of the dials I can find internally are either labeled for Dolby NR or aren't very accessible with the tape mechanism in. I just replaced the belt.
On the plus side, the replacement A/C compressor is in the Matrix! On the other hand... one of the hood latch support bolts broke off in the frame. Then the extractor broke. But I was able to utilize a hole next to it to jam a coarse-threaded lag bolt in and allow the hood to latch!
Brought home my late dad's other bike, a Bridgestone Comp MB3. Lil 42cm frame! I plan on refreshing it, any ideas or pointers on the direction I should go with it? I do have spare drop bars from his other bike I ride, the LeMond.
Got to take the kids to the NW Pinball & Arcade Show yesterday! Absolutely amazing, got to play some very neat tables and see so much history. I'll definitely be going back next year!
Binx the Matrix got a lil treat. Valvoline Restore and Protect, plus a transmission drain and fill! Fluids looked great coming out, everything seems healthy. Figured out the front suspension clunk, too. The passenger brake caliper pins are a tad loose in the bracket, so we need a new caliper. Easy.
SHOES OFF PAWS ON IT'S FRIDAY PARTY ANIMALS and that means nap time for lynxes
Back on the bike! Beautiful evening out for a ride. Got myself a lil treat in the form of new water bottles. 24oz Camelbak Podiums that match the LeMond color scheme perfectly.
Also replaced the door checks on the front! They were absolutely knackered and did nothing. Fun fact: 06-11 Civic door checks fit perfectly. They have one more detent in them, too. How luxe!
