It's still #Junicorn! This was an experiment in mixed media; acryla-gouache, colored and graphite pencils, soft pastels and imitation gold leaf on a watercolor board. Things pretty much went wrong every step of the way, and yet, I persevered.
Another one for #junicorn and a few progress shots. I painted this one entirely in acrylic ink and added some 22k gold leaf around the border.
It's not #mermay anymore, but I did technically FINISH this during MerMay, so it still counts! Draft horse/blue-spotted mudskipper merhorse, a p@tr0n sketch that got out of hand...as they often do #procreate
I really enjoyed painting this one. What will I paint next? It's a mystery! (it's not a mystery, I've already finished my next painting and it's another magical horse)
