Reasoners are analysts while base models seem to be insightfuls. If true, scientific discovery hinges on sizes of GPT series rather than the O series. Or maybe we do get new discoveries with current o series models. I am betting on diffusion models for scientific discovery. #AI #MachineLearning

we wanted GPT4.5, for the plus tier. OpenAI.. Remember the whole point of plus subscriptions was a way to fund research on models like GPT4.5 people paid for this, for years, patiently. Remember claude sonnet 3.7 is available to all free users at launch.
