what a year the past year has been. i released my first solo app, i made an app to propose to my then girlfriend (now fiancée!!!) and now i'm releasing my second app touch grass which is already the most popular app i've worked on here's to another year building silly apps
Also migrated away from netlify to cloudflare pages for 0 cost! Learning as you go is intense but so rewarding
I’ve successfully migrated away from Google’s vision API to Apple’s vision framework - this means the labeling will now run on device meaning quicker load times and 0 backend cost for meeeeee
okay mitigated the bandwidth issue somewhat by moving the video to be hosted on bunny.net - I'm going to migrate from netlify to cloudflare pages to be safe though
I was serving a 12MB vid on every load - i've compressed it to 3MB but still the bandwidth usage is huge!
