A multi-million euro ice-hockey stadium is being planned while local sports are crying out for facilities in Cherrywood! The community and local sports clubs should be the ones to decide what facilities are needed, not private developers.

Stop delaying the Town Centre in Cherrywood! At the last meeting of Dún Laoghaire - Rathdown council, Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael councilors put forward yet more amendments to slow down the building of the town centre. These amendments will line the pockets of private developers.

We joined the @cwuireland.bsky.social and many retired An Post and Eir workers outside the Dáil today. They're fighting against the unnecessary delays in approving already agreed pension increases, which is especially galling during the cost of living crisis that has made life even more difficult.

The privatisation of our buses is a shambles. It's a shamble for both workers and commuters. We told the government all the issues there would be with Bus Connects, but they went ahead regardless. We SHOULD have free, frequent, and reliable public transport in Ireland.

We should #BanFoxHunting. Put an end to this relic of our colonial past. The government can't even come out and say they're FOR fox hunting, because they know it's indefensible! Instead they spread lies. Don't let them keep this barbaric activity. We'll be voting on it tonight.
