I’ve finally found a good use case for ChatGPT: recommending music. I told it some of my favourite albums and it recommended Indigo De Souza, Christian Lee Hutson, Waxahatchee, Freedy Johnston, David Bazan, John K. Samson… and all it cost was a small reservoir and enough energy to light a village.

I assume this heralds the end for Coby White in Chicago very shortly (or less likely, Ayo Dosunmu). This trade looks good for the Bulls on the face of it - getting Ivey essentially for free, only taking on an expiring Mike Conley (who will get Jevon Carter’s veteran bench PG vibes role).

Detroit also receives a 2026 first-round protected swap from Minnesota.

It turns out that post-All Star break Josh Giddey is just the real Josh Giddey. If he carries on averaging 23/10/9 he’s going to be an All Star himself.
What a win-win trade this turned out to be. Caruso played a key role in getting OKC a title. Bulls now 20-5 in their last 25 with Giddey running the show.

Immanuel Quickley got $32.5m per year, RJ Barrett got $27.7m. Giddey’s ceiling is higher than either of them. This is a good deal. It can still go sideways if he doesn’t continue to develop but if you believe in post-All Star break Giddey’s 20/10/9, this can look very cheap very soon
