Honestly, the best bit about being an author is reading comments and reviews that people have taken the time to write. Even better when they enjoy it 😍🚨🚓 Thankyou! (and a big thanks to crime fiction legend @tmpayneauthor for recommending the book!) #TRUECRIMEFANTASTIC
Remember the time? I am pleased to say my second article under the 'Pompey Beat' column, is now out in the @southsealifestyle Magazine. This one is about why police officers take notes with a little nod to what policing Portsmouth in the 90s was like.
The feedback coming in for STOP, POLICE! has been brilliant — and some of it is getting wonderfully cheeky, like a 'Carry On Film' 😂. In this latest post, you’ll know exactly what I mean! Grab your copy here 👉 https://books2read.com/Stop-Police
On October 4th, I joined Matt Peters and Christine Hilmi at Victory Radio for a 'Between the Lines' interview about my book STOP, POLICE! We delved into real stories from my time in Pompey. If you missed it, catch up on Portsmouth's Iconic Radio Station. Join me on this hidden criminal journey!

What a brilliant evening at a Winchester book club! 📚 Huge thanks to everyone who came to hear the real stories behind Stop, Police!. Excellent questions on 1990s policing, beat life, and the reality versus the TV drama. Nothing beats good conversation with genuine readers. 🚔☕
I am looking forward to speaking at a private book club in Winchester tomorrow! It is always a privilege to connect with passionate readers, share the stories behind the pages, and dive into a great discussion about books and writing. See you all tomorrow evening! 📚✨

I joined Katie Martin on BBC Radio Solent to discuss the new crime of wearing face coverings in certain zones, following recent protests in Portsmouth. We explored whether a full ban is necessary. Plus, she mentioned my book, STOP, POLICE! https://www.richard-foster.net/news
Today i'm remembering the Twin Towers, the lives lost, and every person forever changed by 9/11. A day of unimaginable tragedy, courage, and unity. Thinking of the families, survivors, first responders, and all who still carry the weight of that morning. We will never forget.
