Another book recommendation, Tish Harrison Warren’s “What Grows in Weary Lands”. Rev. Warren is today’s Dorothy L. Sayers in the way she profoundly and intimately unwraps for the church layperson the wisdom and comfort in Christian theology.

Question and observation, a year and a half into Pres Trump’s 2nd term who, other than the obscenely wealthy, can say things are better now? And it seems, from the small news sampling below, the probability is good that when Pres Trump addresses something, that thing will get worse. Not better.

Someone dear shared with me that as they were walking in town they saw a reflection of themself in a business's window. A negative narrative about their appearance began. But they interrupted that narrative and, looking at that reflection, they said, "I love that person." Love that wisdom and grace.
