Volume up for this one! When your husky feels he's not getting enough attention!🤣

Now I know the reason why BST was introduced, but do we still need to change the clocks twice a year? Can't we just have GMT all year round? As a chronic illness warrior, each clock change leaves me totally discombobulated for a good few weeks!
Ok, here's one for any electricians. Like most of Cornwall, the power has been out most of the morning here. Power is back on, but only to sockets that aren't drawing much power. No lights, kettle not boiling, but the WiFi is working. Checked the fuse box and all looks ok 🤔
Bowie nearly pulled my arm out of it's socket on our walk this morning. He was fascinated by a bouquet of pheasants, (and yes that's the collective term, I googled it!) I made a deal with him that if he actually caught one, then I would share it with him! All pheasants were unharmed!
Things you don't see every day! Buzzard on a haylage bail, while scanning the cut grass for breakfast!
I've always respected the moors and I always dress appropriately for the season. Come on people, I mean ffs, fckn flip-flops?!🤔🤬
I gave myself a stern talking to, and Bowie and i went for a walk on Dartmoor. It was absolutely baltic in the strong north wind, but I'm glad I made the effort! Absolutely broken now, but at least i did it!🫶
That chronic illness dilemma. I've felt like absolute shit for the last 7 months. I'm getting bored of just taking Bowie to the same old places for our walk, not that he cares! Feeling the need to go further afield this morning, but it's the driving and then the walking

It was incredibly foggy on our walk this morning. Turned a corner and a small herd of hill ponies just materialised!
Just took Bowie to the vets for health check and annual injection. He was good as gold until the vet tried to clip his front dew claws. The vet didn't even touch him and Bowie turned into a typical over dramatic, cry baby husky🤣🤣🤣
The chap who cuts the grass in the church yard has just done a fantastic job of cutting back the hedge in my back garden. I tried to offer more money than he charged, but he wouldn't take it!
I really hate parking apps! There are different apps for Devon, West Devon and Cornwall. A lot of the time down here there often isn't enough mobile signal to access the apps! Surely local councils would save a lot of money in the long run by making payment machines cash and card instead of apps?
UK drivers forced to use parking apps can pay up to 40% more. Hidden charges, full price not shown until the payment page. Neoliberals complain about regulation but silent on daily fleecing of people by predatory capitalism. All done to boost profits, exec pay.
Haven't been to the quarry lake for a while. It was lovely and peaceful this morning. Bowie had a swim and I stayed dry! Saw a majestic red kite gliding just below the top of the cliffs!
Took this photo this afternoon. I love all members of the corvid family, but jays are definitely my favourite!
Bowie and I met this gorgeous 12 week old german shepherd pup called Freya this afternoon for a play date. It was the first time they had met. Bowie was incredibly gentle!
Glad I didn't wear my stripey socks today. It was proper "drop a house on a witch" weather for our dog walk this morning!😁
This fabulous jackdaw is a regular visitor to my garden. I'm pretty sure that one of his grandparents was a magpie due to the patches of white on his feathers!🤔🤣
My philosophy in life has always been that strangers are just friends you haven't made yet! Met a lady on our dog walk this morning who gave off so much positive energy she practically glowed!
We met a gorgeous 4 month old german shepherd on our walk this morning. Tbf, he wasn't much smaller than Bowie! There's something very primal in the volume and intensity of a german shepherd and a husky good naturedly barking their good mornings at each other!😁🤣
Southwest water have been found guilty AGAIN of illegally dumping sewage. They've been fined nearly £8million! It needs to be that the ceo and board of directors are responsible for paying the fines instead of the bills being added to customer's bills! Renationalise now!🤬
Is it just me, or have my forest goblin friends noticed a distinct lack of acorns this year? I've seen hardly any on the ground, and the oak trees seem very bare. Could this be linked to the very hot summer and the drought conditions?🤔
Right then, being a living conundrum in that i used to teach technology, but am notoriously bad at using technology, time to try and connect my phone to the telly box thingy so I can watch the live stream of my niece's wedding! Yes I've googled it!🤣🤣🤣
I love my family! I had to make the difficult decision a couple of months ago that I wasn't physically well enough to travel across country for my niece's wedding. I've been sent the link to watch the live stream and a food box so I don't feel left out! Cream tea and pasties in a box!😁
Oh ffs! Don't you just hate it when you do a load of washing to discover there was a receipt in a pocket? Can't remember what the receipt was for, and can't read it now because it's disintegrated all over the clean washing!😁🤣
It's Bowie's first gotcha day today, so of course he had a dog ice cream after our walk this morning!😁
We met a gorgeous 7 month old kelpie pup on our walk this morning. Bowie was so gentle as him and the kelpie took it in turns to bow at each other before jumping into each other!
Yay! It's almost that time of year when the cobwebs in my house can be called Halloween decorations!🤣🤣
Just had a message saying the horse has been caught and is back home. He looked very happy with himself! It was definitely a case of "run like the gate is open!"🤣🤣
Well that was an exciting walk this morning when an escapee chestnut coloured horse without any tack galloped past us at Tamar Trails. I would guess he was about 2yrs old, and between 14 and 15 hands tall. Didn't know who to contact so I left a post on the local fb community page
