Loving the Rodrigo guitar concerto at #bbcproms but the third movement is in real danger of turning into the Trumpton soundtrack!

Expected Ann Droid to be poor and a Michael 6 copycat at best, but it’s really very good. Two episodes in and ready for another tonight.
This may have worked if the format was one to one, as it always was. The multi guest format is flawed as the biggest personality (usually the American) hogs the time. The problem here was copying Norton and differing only by some unnecessary audience interaction - one to one may suit Winkleman.
Who could be the next Graham Norton, and does the BBC even need one?
Many considered Claudia Winkleman as Norton's successor, but her chat show ended after just one series.

Super choices of #totp - I have strong memories of the “you cannot be serious” fallout, rubber dollies and living forever and flying so I DEFFO watched that age 5. Then, at 9, I loved Haywoode’s Roses. Was probably miffed that Clare Usher was on her way down though…then at only 8 and a half…meh.
6/10 for The Odyssey, yet comfortably the best Nolan film I’ve tried. Found it hard to buy the humanising of Odysseus and the massive liberties with the story. Yet the sacking of Troy did really get me. Samantha Morton good in her Circe cameo. Disappointed at the Sirens and Scylla though!
I’ve spent the year so far watching all the Carry On films in order. Just finished watching (rewatching, really) Loving last night and delighted to see this coincides with the latest episode from the funniest podcast out there.

Looks like they let Paddington wash the away kits again. Pretty smart. #safc
God! You’d think there’d be *something* on TV tonight about the England game?
Just realised how close the backs of the England shirts are to the iconic Carter USM 30 Something album cover #noreng

Wonderful to see that Greedy Pigg has done well for himself since the 80s. He’s now the Mayor of Dandytown.
My favourite Billy song - loved the video too - directed by Phill Jupitus #totp
Andy McClusky channeling geography teachers dancing at school discos the nation over #totp
Who’d have paired Aretha’s voice with tall, gangly Stefy? #totp
Ah, Janice Long mentioned there. Reminds me that we chanced upon her appearance on 3-2-1 on YouTube last weekend. #totp
Not sure the Captain would have stood for this, great though it is #totp
Watched the first episode of Patrick Malahide thriller The One Game tonight. Great stuff, even if the 1988 computers are a little primitive. Loved his oi punk acolytes.
Haiti finishing third, anyone? That’d be the stupidest way for #Scotland to go out.

Beta Band at TRNSMT is available on iPlayer. Sounding great playing, apparently, to less than a hundred people.
Weird game. Ref’s the type I usually like: not giving fouls to divers. Yet he also didn’t give clear fouls and booked randomly here and there. We’d have probably had two penalties from the guy who refereed the England game. #scomar
