We can't keep ignoring what's outside the window Record breaking drought will cause food insecurity and increased food prices Not to mention loss of wildlife and human life from wildfires and heat related death Let's do all we can to protect ourselves from the worst impacts of climate breakdown 💚

This is what climate failure looks like. Nature, homes and livelihoods are being destroyed. The Government must act now.

Everywhere I look today I keep seeing: 1) deadly wildfires ripping through our communities 2) people desperately trying to get by as energy costs soar 3) record oil & gas profits When will we see that these three things are connected? www.wsj.com/business/ene...

Big Oil Is Reaping Rewards From the Chaos in Energy Markets

ExxonMobil’s earnings doubled and Chevron posted its highest quarterly earnings on record as energy prices soared during the prolonged closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

All the evidence shows that wildfires are getting worse in the UK and around the world So why on earth would Andy Burnham grant new oil and gas licenses in week one? Obviously doesn't care about the 15% of the country that currently vote for the @greenparty.org.uk

‘It’s only going to get worse’: wildfires forcing firefighters to make impossible choices

As the climate crisis fuels more intense blazes, pushing them to new parts of the world, those tackling them are forced to ration resources and decide which to fight

Obviously we don't have the same amount of sun as Australia, but what they have achieved in the last few years is incredible Let's learn from the best practice of world leaders on renewable energy and adapt them to meet the needs of the UK who face spiralling energy bills

The household battery revolution that could change energy bills … and the world

Australia is pioneering a revolution in home renewables and battery use, proving what is possible with the right policies

Absolutely 👏🏽 Labour continue to choose turning a blind eye to the blindingly obvious Vote Green on Thursday 7th May 💚

"We don’t fully know what is driving the rising demand for #mentalhealth services" Well Wes, suggest you look to poverty and inequality, the cost-of-living crisis, rigid discipline in schools forced to become #ExamFactories, #ClimateEmergency... www.independent.co.uk/voices/nhs-m...

I've been on a few of the marches and they are more like a festival than a hate march. I've not seen the 'Unite the Kingdom' marches getting the same level of scrutiny as those that oppose the extermination of Palestinians 💚🙏🏽

#trevorphillips tries to argue that because some people say the pro Palestinian marches are hate marches, they are. @zackpolanski.bsky.social is spot on, there is nothing hateful about marching in support of the Palestinians & against Israels brutal occupation & genocide.
