I honestly think we need a manager now who can unite the fans and unite the dressing room. Iraola might do that - but I actually think Gerrard, maybe with a Carragher as assistant, would be able to do a Carrick style job but even better #LFC

I agree wholly with this and I think it is important that more people understand. Oil drilled in the north Sea will be sold by private companies on an international market, which in turn sets the price. They don't give it direct to UK pensioners like a Big Oil version of Robin Hood.

Drilling for more oil & gas in the North Sea won't lower bills, it won't make us more energy independent and it won't insulate us from price shocks. A Labour backslide on this would be a huge betrayal. Double down on renewables. Insulate every home. Lower bills, permanently.

Everyday, there is a less than one percent chance of guessing the correct Wordle in one go. Everyday, according to the WordleBot analysis, around two per cent of people 'guess' it. Why would you play a game like that if you already know the answer?

It was dog day in the office yesterday. I sent this pic to my daughter and she was so excited, thinking I was getting a dog to live with me 😃 I would, but an allergy means I need a antihistamene unless the dog is hypoallergenic like this one. A pill is well worth it for the office perk up though!

This is a really powerful read. I confess I've used this word in the past, without a full understanding of the depth of its meaning. I'm happy to have given it up before today. ‘The basis of eugenics’: Elon Musk and the menacing return of the R-word www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

The slur is rooted in the dehumanization of people with intellectual disabilities. Its resurgence threatens the fragile progress we’ve made

Someone ruined Harry Potter for me today. Each wizard in England buys one wand from Olivander before joining Hogwarts for between 1 and 10 galleons. A galleon is worth £10. There are about 30 wizards in each year at Hogwart's. So Olivander's turnover is £300-£3000 P/A. How does he even pay his rent?
