If we get the mooted deals in/out I think overall the squad has more quality, is younger, better balanced, and more progressive in playing style than LY. Pending impact of Ndiaye going and with a distinct (and ongoing) lack of depth in FBs. Still work to do but it’s far from a terrible window.
Never really worked out for Beto at Everton. Wasn’t for lack of effort, he worked his arse off and came across as a lovely bloke. Footballing opinions are just that. Opinions. He is a sound bloke who gave everything. We should wish him well.
A sensible enough signing at a low cost. Still feel we need a guaranteed first teamer. But hey, a right back is a right back.
