Don’t all hate me but I love the way Gauntlet II (Arcade) looks when it’s pushed to 1:1 full screen rather than 4:3 aspect. Don’t worry, the Pocket fully supports running at correct ratio too, but it’s quite cool to see that just a little stretch on Arcade games.

Really happy with the low power usage on the MiSTerFPGA Handheld electronics now. We are using just 3.5watts running Doom on the Ao486 Core. That must be the lowest power MiSTer (Cyclone5) ever. No fan or Heatsink needed. #Multisystem2 Pocket

Handheld MiSTer testing has gone well this week. 2 x 21700 Battery cells and life is looking around 10 to 11 hours on the PlayStation Core. The Gameboy is looking like 12 Hours. Zaparoo front end is looking really good too.

We have reached a significant milestone in the Handheld MiSTerFPGA (Pocket) project. It’s working! StarWars (Vector Arcade) running on the first issue prototype. More updates soon.

I’m finishing the weekend with a blast from the past. Not had Angel Delight for well over 30 years… It’s not as you remember, but still gets 7/10 on the Nostalgia scale. 😊 Use just 200ml of chilled milk instead of the 300ml it recommends. 👍

Picked up two games from CEX. There are a huge number of physical games out there to enjoy from the past 50+ years. Looking forward to playing these.
