Can you help? I'm struggling to understand the far right's atavistic appetite for the medieval peasant lifestyle.

Today's *homo stupidus* represents human history's apex of cognitive regression, defined by an aggressive repudiation of a ten-millennium civilisational inheritance. Offered the riches of science, art & reason, they reject the entirety of human progress for the base gratification of tribal hatred.

The 'average person' today represents history’s apex of cognitive regression, a shameless entity actively repudiating a 10-millennium civilisational inheritance. Offered the riches of science, art, literature and reason, they choose to desecrate these gifts. They only want to hate. Somebody to hate.

Right-wing rhetoric faces an epistemic crisis: by weaponising post-truth hyperbole these politicians are cognitively trapped in their own discursive simulations. Escaping empirical reality for populist grievance has left them consumed by the very word salads they contrived to deceive the electorate.

Journalist, "You called Margaret Thatcher a genius. Was one of her biggest mistakes the privatisation of England's water networks?" Kemi Badenoch, "Privatisation was a success" She then explains exactly how privatisation was not a success - shameless gaslighting, utterly disgusting.

The mainstreaming of "remigration" exemplifies a classic Overton window shift, where a fringe ethno-nationalist concept is systematically laundered into acceptable political discourse. By swapping the overt reviled language of forced mass deportation for a clinical, pseudo-sociological euphemism ...

Harder to think of a clearer example of normalization of far-right discourse. The idea of remigration is now something that can be argued should be a priority of what might very well be the next Spanish government. elpais.com/espana/elecc... 1/2

IMHO evicting Palantir from British infrastructure is essential for democratic digital sovereignty. Subcontracting our strategic data architectures—most critically the NHS Federated Data Platform—to a surveillance-capitalist monopoly creates indelible state dependence & compromises citizen privacy.

(from)The Second Coming By WB Yeats “Things fall apart; the center cannot hold; / Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, / The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere / The ceremony of innocence is drowned; / The best lack all conviction, while the worst / Are full of passionate intensity."

I’m beginning to realise that in the Rupert Lowe worldview how "British" you are is entirely dependent on your capacity to sustain a hyper-vigilant, 24/7 performative liturgy of pathological xenophobia and manufactured division. Citizenship as a perpetual anxiety attack, if you like.

By euphemistically designating an individual who sabotaged a humanitarian vessel with a blade while a responder was onboard as an "anti-migrant activist," the BBC engages in grotesque semantic laundering. This is not activism; it is the sanitisation of life-endangering thuggery.

This maritime sabotage by Daniel Thomas, the self-appointed guardian of the nation, exposes the far right's abysmal ethical vacuum. Slashing a rescue vessel with a first responder onboard is a feral capitulation to atavistic malice. It is not activism; it is unadulterated, life-endangering thuggery.

Danny Tommo slashes a RNLI rescue dinghy with a volunteer onboard who was completing final checks on the boat. This was in the English Channel this evening. I don't know anything about maritime law, but surely that's still criminal damage and unlawful use of a knife. I hope he gets done for this.

Weaponising existential pathologies to odiously subjugate an emergency worker is a sublime piece of ideological self-parody. The cognitive contortion required to proclaim yourself the defender of Britain while attacking the very people tasked with protecting it is spectacularly grotesque.

11. Hampshire Police say six people who took part in the protest in Gosport have been arrested, including for assaulting an emergency worker. The force is making inquiries into what happened at sea and hasn't confirmed identity of the arrests.

To help facilitate peaceful protest, ensure the safety of the local community and support partners in the event of any emergency at sea, we deployed officers to Gosport and Portsmouth.

Following news that the vessel would be docking elsewhere in the country, police were met with a group of people who remained in Gosport, some of whom became hostile towards officers.

As a result, six people were arrested for offences including careless driving, assaulting an emergency worker and aggravated trespass.

They remain in custody at this time and our enquiries into these incidents continue.

We are also aware of a video circulating online relating to damage being caused to a boat in the English Channel on the afternoon of 22 September, and we are conducting enquiries into the matter.

Sabotaging a vessel mid-channel w/ someone aboard is not "border protection" but an instantiation of primitive sadism. Stripping away the veneer of patriotism exposes the core truth: an ideological void so profound it requires the performative construct of human drowning to secure digital capital.

5. After around 30 hours at sea, the dinghy was intercepted by the RNLI and those on board transferred to two lifeboats. Two lifeboat personnel tried to secure the empty dinghy. Thomas yelled abuse and knifed the dinghy to deflate it - with a rescuer still on board.

When the aggressively nationalistic, "pro-sovereignty" Reform UK proposes to outsource the core sovereign function of border control to an external actor, we see how it's populist framework yet again prioritizes performative ideological alignment over actual constitutional governance.

From Brexit to Brexit-from-Britain: maybe one day the world will become sufficiently homogeneous for #Piddington. Until then it seems the only consistent response is to keep shrinking the map until nobody else is left on it. Then finally why not declare a garden shed sovereign territory?

Just look at the glee on Nigel Farage’s face as he watches a Piddington resident cry about the overt racism she, her Caribbean heritage husband, and their two children have felt in the village during the referendum. Time and again he’s showing us exactly who he is.
