Alissa’s bringing a big bag of cucumbers to work to pass the goodness around.
I often wonder about the "I stopped pulling my punches" line in No Way Home and how many jaywalkers have gotten absolutely shit-stomped by Andrew Garfield's Spider-man over the years.

If you ever see a book ad that comes from a fancy sounding page like “Ultimate Bestsellers” or “Books Hollywood are watching,” just know there’s a 99.99% that page is owned by the book’s author. It’s reasonably simple to create a business page on FB then link it to an ad account…
Authors, I know a lot of you hate writing blurbs, but for the love of god, please don’t just write a story summary and call it a day. There are a lot of free resources out there as well as experienced authors who are happy to at least give something a look-see. Make use of them.
Alissa: “Why is my butternut squash screaming?” Why indeed?
Fishstick: “I’m gonna bite this arm. “ Me: “Why would you do that?” Fishstick: “It’s too close to me.” Me: “You’re the one who laid down next to it.” Fishstick: “Yeah, definitely gonna bite this arm.”
Get ready to laugh from DUSK TILL DAWN! BILL THE VAMPIRE - There are reasons we fear the night. He's NOT one of them. For ebook, print, and audio. www.amazon.com/dp/B0058I8A6K
A terrible book will always feel too long. Whereas a good book will never seem long enough.
Got tickets to take the boys to see Spider-Man tomorrow morning.
My website disclaimer on GenAI “I’ve seen The Terminator enough times to know what happens when you put too much trust in machines. I might collect Decepticons, but that doesn’t mean I want to be one.”
Provolone is my cheese of choice for when I need a drive-by slice. What's yours?
Found this little fella hanging from one of the vines. Armenian cucumber or something else?
I will be very disappointed if someone doesn't create a mock sequel trailer called JOHN WICKER in which Olivia Colman's character is killed by the mob, leading to a rattan-filled revenge rampage.

Dogs: “Mommy and daddy bought you home made peanut butter cookies with pumpkin frosting!” Cats: “Here’s some nip. Come get high, asshole.”
How it feels to be a AAA member. "Oh wow! I never knew there were all these benefits to being a member!" (Proceeds to never use or even remember said benefits exist)
Proselytizing on an airplane = No fucking way. Sitting in the passenger seat as I'm driving and the topic of Transformers, Bigfoot, or Jaws comes up = Well ... maybe. 😂
We have much larger ones growing, but these two tiny squashes were done and ready to come in.
My one autistic son to his younger autistic brother: “I should have taught you science in your early years. That way you would be less dumb.” Me: “Um, okay then.” 🤣
We have officially reached that point where we’re getting so many cucumbers from the garden that I’m pleading with my wife to take some to work and hand them out to whoever wants some. First world garden problems. 🤣
Pet Peeve: Ghost hunters who are afraid of ghosts. You do know no one is forcing you to do this, right?
Been seeing a lot of ads for Cryptid Horror books - which I love reading. That said, a lot of the ads are all, "An absolute Masterpiece!" only for me to click and see a 2.5 star average review rating. Now I normally don't let reviews sway me, but I will admit that tends to give me pause.
Minor Pet Peeve: That Blusky and Threads have vast different character limits per post, which makes cross-posting a pain in the ass.
I will admit to a tiny bit of jealousy at seeing authors with the focus to constantly talk about their stories and books - able to weave the conversation around them. My ADHD brain is like a multiplex - playing dozens of movies at once. As a result, my feed is often chaos incarnate.
