went to chinatown a couple of times in the last week or so and it really made me think about how few third spaces still exist without the expectation of commerce. having parks off limits to the people who parks would most benefit is just so fucking backasswards I will never forgive Lori for it.

We have a twice a year shot that makes HIV 99.9% preventable. I can’t believe we’ve seen this in my lifetime. And I can’t fucking believe that we’ve erased so, so much of this progress to just be dick swinging, war mongering assholes of the world.

how much of this preaching has ever actually converted someone? in my experience, it only solidifies their own weird zeal and very rarely “wins” over anyone’s heart or mind to The Good Word. one more reason I love being Jewish: we explicitly don’t proselytize.
