Got back from seeing David Byrne’s American Utopia A show I had the pleasure of seeing twice in Manchester - although this is the version they did on Broadway. I have the BluRay of this and have watched it several times - first time it has been screened in cinemas. Still a grin inducing treat!

He said the notes were in place quite early, but the gradual changes to the sound took so long and that so much effort went into trying to make something sound effortless!

James was all about the rave. Case in point this gem from 1993. Fun fact - the video for this was co-directed by Jarvis Cocker and was filmed in West Kirby!

Got back from seeing Rosebush Pruning I remember watching Saltburn and thinking it was a bit up it’s own arse - some memorable scenes, some funny and some I never want to see again - along with characters so vacuous that I had zero interest in them. This was the same. And like Saltburn, it’s… meh.
Hopefully this date for The Coral will sell out in record time so that they add a second! Going to the Manics/Suede double in Manchester with my sister on 31st 😂🤞🏻
