I made a little bit of music today. First time I've done that in decades. Felt good. Sounds awful. But I made it. Me. My awful little plinky ponky tunes. Satisfying. The more AI rubbish comes out, the more I'm gonna make stuff myself.

It's not until I try and explain and untangle the knot that is the various Tenchi continuities to others that I realise how unhinged it sounds to outsiders who don't know about the multiple continuities, the light novels, the prequels, spinoffs and side stories. But it is a lot of fun.
As much as I love current Tenchi (last ova was 2023, you did watch it right?) And I'd LOVE a remake/revival of the original Ryo-Ohki OVA continuity like Ranma 1/2 is currently getting, I'll totally throw down for a Universe follow up!

Reminder that the Sonic the Hedgehog 35th Anniversary Special drops TOMORROW! And it is AMAZING. I'm not biased, (I didn't work on it!) it is SO GOOD. The art, the story, the gags, the action. It's one of my favourite pieces of IDW Sonic to date! Trust me, you need this one!

Man. All I want from this life is to make stuff. For my friends to be able to make stuff. For us all to live comfortably & not stress or worry about the world ending. I want to have the luxury of being able to do nothing, & be useless sometimes. Life is already so hard. We gotta lift each other up.
So far my current regeneration is not putting up with any sort of nonsense. I think this is gonna be a fun one. It hasn't even been a week yet but I'm looking forward to seeing what happens.

Sat down to make a story note and accidentally wrote 500 words of a novel opening? Sometimes I surprise myself. Very tempted to just write a novel first and then back adapt it into a comic instead of being normal and writing a comic script first. HMMMM.

Was just thinking to myself that I really want to make something when a loud bang made almost made me jump outta my chair. A book had fallen over on my shelf; "How to self publish comics: not just create them" (by @joshblaylock.bsky.social). WELL THANKS GHOSTS guess now I really have to make one.
