1. What Mike says is 100% correct. This gives no idea of how viable Steam is as a launch platform for games in 2026 - despite remaining the best launch platform available. 2. $100K+ is going to be "success" in very limited contexts - a solo developer, or a small team outside of expensive areas.

Realising my gaming tastes have changed. I used to organise Destiny raids and chase day-one clears. Now I mostly play short session games on Switch/Steam Deck. Not about age or being a parent — I think I just value games that respect my time more now. Anyone else felt the same shift lately?
I feel like I’ve done a good job in my little Pokopia building then I see other peoples and I feel like I need to start all over again to make it prettier 🤣

A light has been lost. Patrick was a joy. He was patient, kind and had a way with words. Our friendship started and grew from playing Destiny and continued from there. We only had 2 opportunities to meet in person and I am forever grateful for those. I’ll miss you, buddy. Eyes up, guardian.

Pat was stupid great kindness and big heartedness and I am devastated. For almost 10 years I was lucky enough to count him as a close friend, he always cared so deeply it was like being around the sun. I can’t believe I won’t get to hang out with my pal and chat about penguins and lore anymore
