Rachel is an AWESOME person. Her Halloween fits are legendary.
I’ve long thought Rachel Banham is the only Chicago pro athlete who could theoretically be my friend. This was her tunnel fit tonight.

This is fine. (Just kidding. Nothing is fine.)

Need a compilation of players saying it to her
Alanna Smith to the entire WNBA tonight.
I really don’t want to be in an on-the-ground scrum for the ball with AT and Bri Jones. I know when I’m badly out-muscled.
Angel Reese’s finishing ability has improved exponentially since she arrived in Atlanta. It’s no longer the adventure it was during her first two seasons in Chicago. Also, is it just me or is she getting taller? Regardless, playing for Atlanta certainly agrees with Angel. Love to see it!
WNBA Players of the Month for July: — East: Kelsey Mitchell — West: A’ja Wilson This is Mitchell’s first ever POTM. For Wilson, it’s her 3rd POTM award this season, and 16th overall.
Shout-out to the Wieners Circle and the Chicago Sky for an incredible Tuesday afternoon meet-and-greet (free hotdogs!) with Gabriela Jaquez and Sydney Taylor!
🏀 Week 10 Players of the Week 🏀 Eastern Conference: Caitlin Clark | Indiana Fever 25.7 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 9.0 APG Western Conference: A'ja Wilson | Las Vegas Aces 32.3 PPG, 12.0 RPG, 4.7 APG #WNBASeason30
Kelsey Plum popping out, just got there last night, hasn’t played in over a month, brand new team, doesn’t know their plays, just skipping & vibing her way to 20pts in 20 minutes is crazy, ngl. #WNBA
June 14th - KP and Kah both go for 40pts against each other July 22nd - Kah replaces KP as an All Star Aug 3rd - KP and Kah play together on the same WNBA team for the first time I love stories like this #WNBA
Two main takeaways from Mercury/Sky are I hope Sydney Taylor is ok and the game shouldn’t have been that close. But the third is that it was incredibly fun to watch Plum play on such short notice. Just a basketball moment that will stick with me, she’s a pure hooper. #WNBA
The D'POY is movin' on up 💅✨ With her first block tonight, A'ja Wilson secures the No. 6 spot on the all-time blocks list!
Hey, I’m in this picture! For real! 😂
17,000 strong wearing pink for Angel Reese and the Dream
You can always count on KP for a good quote. 😝
Kelsey Plum talking to the media for the first time since being traded to the Mercury, confirms that she's available for 20 min tonight. Notes that she hasn't practiced with the team or even played for five weeks: "It's a cocktail for success as far as I'm concerned."
Angel Reese on why she created her Barbie: “I didn’t have a lot of dolls because I didn’t have dolls that looked like me much, and that’s why I kind of wanna really wanted to make sure this was super intentional …” (Q:?)
I’m watching three of my favs — A’ja, JC and Bri — warm up about an hour before the Dream and Aces tip off at State Farm Arena. It’s Barbie Night in Atlanta! (Those are pink rally towels you see draped over the seats.) 💥💥💥
Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready! 💯
Power nap before the Dream game in case they need me to sub in #wnba
… and I will be watching the Dream in person at midcourt tonight at State Farm Arena (a few rows up from the floor, that is)! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
whispers: The Dream play today!
Kudos to Cheryl for having this convo. I do hope she reminded Sophie that Cheryl has been “protecting women’s sports” since before Sophie was born and that cheryl may have a more reality based view of what the threats are.

100% supportive of this sentiment. The WNBA needs a crash course in online information dynamics and media manipulation. ASAP. Old school crisis response plans are going to fail spectacularly.
A good commissioner steps in now before every WNBA game becomes a rightwing performance space, like school board meetings were during peak CRT. You just have to throw the hammer down on this. Do not give them an inch.
My partner said Carla Leite was probably like "sacre bleu!" and for some reason that really cracks me up
My goodness this is a tough block from Sonia Citron. Very few are able to stick with Paige and send her shot back in the mid-range. #WNBASky
