Got a job interview tomorrow (for a new role within the same company) - My first one in years and I’m absolutely shitting it 😬

Was comp’d to see #StEtienne last night on the ‘Farewell’ tour in Brum. A great show with a full house (mostly of a certain age). All the ‘hits’ as you’d expect (which the crowd joined in on). Support from #IrainaMancini and band who was fantastic. Here’s some crappy pictures..

Don’t get me wrong, I love GOAT but fuck me, they don’t half rinse their represses - yet another on the way.

Off out to see the #SoledadBrothers & #BlackMekon tonight. Last time I saw them was in 2005 (last time they played in the UK I believe) at the tiny Bar Academy in Brum. Meg White was there too. Coincidentally, Coldrice club nights were run by a pre Black Mekon, Black Mekon 🤯

This weekend’s charity shop purchases were decent - certainly spanning the genres - The 2 10”s from 1960/61 are cool - the sleeves feel like moden screenprinted ones with pasted on track lists
