okay, this looks better now - added some textures to the environment, but now car needs to react to environment a bit more, like stepped curb sounds, etc. its kinda incredible to drive it - car feels alive, move around, slides, etc.

ignore environment and HOLY the lighting on the car looks too good and how its connecting to environment with its shadow, this is impressive

i might've made one mean looking LMP2 car for my sim its just a test run on what it would look like with some kind of texture, so i didn't even UV unwrap it really, but damn this is cool

Worked on first LMP2 car today, will prob make multiple fictional ones with slightly different handling/looks I think I'm getting better at making cars in blender Nah, cant be true

i kinda like full black + accent colors. i always like full black. well i will need to make more options, but i'd pick this one:> (its just a test export, not even close to being finished yet)

absolutely sebring'ed my track in some places and somehow finally managed to do a clean lap on camera not bad for vrchat, i'd say still lots to improve and make, but this is fun

fairly lowpoly too, 3220 per boot for that detail is not terrible, nor overly optimized. could've got away with much more geo cut but i want to have higher quality ver first, will add fallback later ig

those corners are hella fun tho, first one is pretty hard to gauge the speed for so its somewhat challenging but even with a bad line elevation changes make it feel amazing unless u do what i did in prev video

okay, i came up with a layout for the test track (will add sub-layouts later, but here is the main idea idk if its any good, but: 6.9km (4.3~miles) lots of elevation changes and technical sections before the straights to test how driver can handle precision, some fast sections, some slow sections
