Just received a print copy of Ordinary Guy at War, written by my dear friend @dim0kq.bsky.social. I already knew his story personally and had read the digital version, but the book still revealed many fascinating details. A bold and touching story by a wonderful person.

Ukrainians recall asking NATO to close the sky over Ukraine with laughter and embarrassment. In a viral Instagram video, iamdonskikh says he feels ashamed for once asking NATO to protect Ukraine from Russians. In the comments, many share the same feeling. Why is that?

On the morning of February 18, Russians destroyed a 1957 locomotive and an antique carriage with a drone strike. I saw that beautiful train in Haivoron several months ago. It’s used only for celebrations. Just an ordinary Russian desire to destroy and kill. Fucking barbarians.

From the start, Russia’s ceasefire was just a cover to reload missiles and stockpile drones. They will strike homes, kill children, and freeze elderly. This is what happens when criminals go unpunished and are instead welcomed into international sports and awarded for movies.

Fucking Groundhog Day. Russians kill train passengers with drones, kill people evacuating from an occupied village with FPV, and before that, hit residential building in Odesa killing a man… endless cycle of Russian crimes. And no consequences for Russia from the world.

Putin: “We gifted Crimea to Ukraine.” Trump: “We gifted Greenland to Denmark.” Even if that were true, how morally bankrupt must someone be to demand a “gift” back years later?

“Many things that would be right are illegal.” Shame on the Swiss government. No amount of money can justify shameful friendship with the Russians, let alone the disgraceful humiliation of its own heroic citizens.

By pushing Ukraine to surrender, the US is once again sending a clear message to all countries threatened by invasion from larger countries: they will be punished for attempting to defend themselves.

Russians destroyed the Zaporizhzhia-Kamianske railway station in my hometown of Kamianske. In 2017, this station was given back its historical name, which it received in 1884 and lost in 1924 after the Soviet occupation. No military objectives, just Russian terror.

Ukraine is breathtaking.

To understand the scale of the disaster Russia brought to Ukraine, it’s enough to listen to an ordinary Ukrainian. Recently, I watched a fascinating video about a high-tech Ukrainian pet food manufacturer, and in the comments, I came across a story that hit me hard.
