The Declaration of Independence is touring Rhode Island. 250 years ago, the Declaration was read aloud and put on public display across the state. This is your chance to see the document up close in your community!

The Declaration of Independence will be on display at the Rhode Island State House on Independence Day from 1-3 p.m.! Guests will enter and go through security on the Smith Street side of the building.

To get on the ballot, candidates need registered voters to sign their nomination papers. If you're asked to sign, remember these 3 things: ➡️ A signature is not a vote ➡️ The candidate must be running in your district ➡️ Your party does not matter
