Progressive Kentucky. Will no one rid us of this meddlesome priest?

Trump: "We have been pretty happy with Russia that they have not gotten involved in Iran ... Russia and China have not participated or, participated in a much smaller way than they could have." (Both Russia and China have actively helped Iran fight America.)

literally moments after claiming he gave up nothing in exchange for a hostage who was being held by Putin, Trump admits that he didn't implement sanctions on Russia in order to get the hostage

Trump takes two questions and then abruptly wraps up the event, which was supposed to be about "cybercrime" but in reality was just an opportunity for Trump's cronies to publicly praise him and kiss his ass

TRUMP: We gave nothing in exchange for Stephen. We never give anything in exchange for hostages. TRUMP LITERALLY MOMENTS LATER: If I implemented sanctions on Russia, Steven wouldn't be coming out right now.

I'm a doctor and a dad. I rebuilt Detroit's health department, led Wayne County's Department of Health, Human and Veterans Services. We put glasses on kids, took on corporate polluters, eliminated medical debt. It just shouldn't be this hard to get by in the richest country in the world.

In central Kentucky, Congressional candidate Republican Ralph Avarado is attacking the Dem candidate Zach Dembo for not releasing the Epstein files. Republicans are phucking liars. Pieces of shit.

WIN: An Alaska court allowed a pro-voting lawsuit to move forward in seeking the destruction of any unredacted state voter data already shared with the DOJ. The suit argues the DOJ plans to use the data to build a national voter database and support immigration probes.

Attention people with names those people think make you definitely a foreigner- This is called voter intimidation. Black Americans have suffered it since before we got the right to vote. If you've gotten your citizenship, push past the fear and plan to vote anyway. It's the only way forward.

Armed federal agents “have been knocking on doors in several states to ask residents about their immigration status — and to inquire if they have registered to vote or cast votes in past elections”
