It’s been about 5 months now since my hip surgery and I’m doing SO GOOD. I can mostly fully workout now and have been getting my steps in to make sure my body can survive all the walking that happens during Riptide. So so happy I did this 3rd hip surgery.
in exactly two weeks I will be on the way to Riptide RAHHHH!!!! Sooo excitedddd
If the goal is to make Splatoon more than just hobby, there’s no way to that than through content. I was chatting with a Splat 1 vet yesterday and he was baffled by how much the scene has grown but how it had much more investment in S1. The people who played then also cared about cultivating fans.

Some of the easiest commentary to study is obviously going to be fighting games. But Splatoon commentary is SO unique you have to really figure out how to implement so many things differently. It’s almost best it to study apex, overwatch, etc. commentary because of the similar team environment.

I’ve ranted about this on Twitter years ago but I really think going to improv classes can really help improve commentary. Ya know? Help you think a bit outside of the box quickly on the spot. I need to do some improv refreshers myself.
