This is a little sneak peek at a short comic I drew this year as part of my Sunday posts on Ko-Fi. It’s a project I managed to keep up at the desired pace throughout the year, which is a victory for me.

An ink drawing depicting a rat with its mouth open, its eyes bulging and laughing, whilst being held in a hand wearing a black leather glove. The space all around the rat is filled with writing evoking laughter: “hahaha”.
In the bottom right-hand corner, a smaller panel also shows this rat being held in a hand, it appears calmer and is shouting “stop!”

The time has finally come! 4 new linocut designs (the “Creature” theme) are now available for pre-order on Ko-fi. As launch offer, you can get a mini print and a sticker for free. All you have to do is buy at least 2 prints to get the free mini print, or 3 prints to get the sticker in addition!

Sometimes sketches lead to larger projects. Initially inspired by "Death as General Rides a Horse on a Battlefield" by Edgar Bundy, I gradually moved away from the original reference to finish with a scene of snow-covered ruins, because that was something I particularly wanted to try out.

It is a landscape-format illustration depicting a horseman riding through snow-covered ruins.
The horseman is shown in profile; he wears a wide-brimmed hat adorned with feathers fluttering in the wind, as well as a long grey-blue cloak that covers him almost entirely. He wears dark leather gloves and boots, and only his trousers are purple.
The horse is dark brown; its head is covered by a metal piece resembling a mask, much like the figure, whose upper face is hidden by a silver half-skull.

The ruins appear to be the remains of a church and a cemetery, whose orange-beige sandstone stones and slabs are weathered by time. Only the base of a pillar and a Gothic pointed arch remain, along with a few stone grave crosses.
In the distance, the rest of the cemetery is marked by simple sticks stuck in the ground, climbing up the hillside that marks the horizon.
At the top of this hill stands an old, gnarled and bare tree. The sky is filled with pale grey and pinkish clouds, evoking a winter’s morning.
The entire scene is covered in a thick layer of snow.
