Screenshot of post by goshdanganronpa on Tumblr. Reads, "Every time you think of a fic you wish you could've read or reread or continued reading during the AO3 shutdown, note it somewhere.

When the shutdown ends, open that fic and leave a comment saying, "I thought about you during the AO3 shutdown." Even if you've commented before.

Let them know they were on your mind."

Holy shit you guys. Do NOT go to that AO3 dot life website. Not as a reader, not as a writer. It’s a phishing site that yes probably has all the fics you’re looking for but it’s also stealing all your info. Do! Not! Go!

Mila 🌸@deathflare.bsky.social · 6d ago

hey, absolutely do not email that ao3 dot life AI slop website from your ao3 email nor provide them with any of your personal info. they are not affiliated with ao3 and do not have legal means of knowing what your ao3 email is. you can report them directly to their host or OTW's legal team.

While AO3 remains down, I've made a Carrd with links to *most* of my fics, grouped by series: shindekure.carrd.co "Fireflies" is currently missing a link. Unfortunately, I wrote that one before I started using Ellipsus. If you happen to have a copy, please let me know! #aot #fanfiction #ao3down

For my coyote ugly AU, Petra is so fun to draw and I’m also rly into this inking style rn 👀✨ #leviackerman #petraral #rivetra #aot #attackontitan

A collage of Petra in a 90s inspired outfits and a picture of Levi & Petra on a pool table.

A close up of two inked drawings of Petra, in one of the drawings she is wearing a crop top that says Redheads do it better

A close up of Levi flustered and leaning back as he sits on the pool table while Petra is climbing up too and leaning towards Levi. Levi’s hand is scrunching up Petra’s shirt while Petra is doing the same to him.

... and also a snippet from my fic for the forthcoming #rivetra zine. This is it now — I won't share any more. #WiPWednesday

Ellipsus snippet, pale green on dark green. Reads as follows:
I turned to see the Queen of the Grove pass my shoulder, eyes fixed on the boy struggling on the ground by the tree. Without acknowledging me at all, she walked over to him, nocked a third arrow, and pierced him through the heart.

With a final, rattling breath, I watched him expire.

Only as his body turned still did she look at me. "Are you hurt?" she asked plainly.

I do not mind admitting that it took me a number of breaths to respond. "Only shaken," I eventually admitted.

She nodded. "You hold the bough. The right is now yours to challenge me."

I was confused, until I looked down at the twig in my hand. "Challenge you?"

"I am Queen of the Grove," she stated, with all the certainty of one who believes in the sense behind their words.

"I am aware of your duty," I replied, throwing the bough to the ground.

She frowned. "I do not think you are." Then she shouldered her bow. "Walk with me, Levi."

AND the 🍤 I made for the NSFW supplement using vintage erotic photographs taken in an Edwardian music hall for references might be my best digital drawing / painting to date, too. if you're very lucky, I might post teasers on Wednesday 👀

IMHO you should all preorder a copy of the #Rivetra zine when preorders open, because the lovingly researched, historically-and-biblically-accurate epistolary Roman oneshot I contributed might actually be my best writing to date and I'm really excited for people to read it.

I guess you're getting an excerpt from my upcoming Roman AU fic for #WiPWednesday, then. #aot #rivetra

I do not recall the precise reason I chose to remain in Aricia for the following night, instead of continuing my travels South by the Appian Way. I do know this: it was not what the city had to offer in good wine and generous tables, although it had both in abundance. Nor was it the talk of the townsfolk around the forum, whose gossiping about statues and synagogues in faraway provinces to which I have no association wore my nerves thin after just one day. Perhaps it was my curiosity about the office of the Queen of the Grove; or the virtuous young woman, named after a city on the other side of the sea, who bore the mantle of a goddess with a fate that bound her to the trees.

I was put in mind of Hippolytus, son of Theseus and the Amazon queen, and of his piety to the virgin goddess; when one of the town elders told me that Hippolytus was said, in those parts, to have been wedded to the very soul of those woods.

"It is why the jealous Titan, Venus, still stalks the grove to this day," the old man warned. "So should you choose to go and observe the rites of the priests at the sanctuary by the lake, be wary of her tricks. Though I suppose your people do know something of jealous gods, and the destruction wrought at their insistence."

I thanked him for his insights, and ended our conversation — weary as I had become with talk of Judea.
