In Super Mario Maker 2, failing the matching game in the World Maker will cause Mario's mismatched creation to emerge from the door, making him slowly back away in fear or disgust. Below are all the possible abominations Mario can create.

In the World Maker mode of Super Mario Maker 2, the Match & Win! minigame is directly based on the Spade Panel game from Super Mario Bros. 3.
If Mario fails to match all three reels to create a picture of a single power-up, he will wait in front of the house...
...whereupon the mismatched object he created will emerge from the door. Mario will back off, seemingly in fear or disgust.
Here are all the possible abominations Mario can create, extracted from the game's files: [collection of 24 mismatched objects]

A Bowser course select screen, long thought unused in Super Mario 64 DS, can actually be seen by performing an absurdly specific action: Yoshi must drown underneath the Hazy Maze Cave entrance. If his lifeless body floats up through the pool, the screen will be displayed.

i hate smash discussion and try not to touch it but i thought it would be fun to make a roster for a potential smash reboot without as many characters and entirely reworked from the ground up, character choices are biased but i still tried to be fair i do think we'll see something in this vein

i could be totally off base on this, but i feel like we need to stop using the word "clanker" for what its being used for. it is DANGEROUSLY close to the same way other derogatory words are used against real people in the real world

anyway more seriously here's a tumblr post i made about boycotts a while ago and i still maintain you should run through this checklist for any boycott you see on social media

tired of the word boycott getting thrown around for things that very much are not going to be successful so here's some traits you should look for before choosing to participate in a boycott:

it should have a clearly stated demand, and that demand should be something that the boycotted party has control over and can actually change. "stop engaging in discriminatory hiring practices" is viable, "stop selling goods at a profit" is not

the boycott should only end when that goal is met. fixed end dates allow the boycotted party to just wait it out. one-day boycotts are especially comical

boycotts should expect an actual change in your behaviour. not doing something you can't afford the cost of or already weren't going to do isn't boycotting.

there should be some kind of clear organisational structure - somebody needs to relay demands to the boycotted party, be able to call off the boycott when their demands are met, and ensure everybody participating actually understands what the boycott is about
