I cancelled my preorder for a @frame.work desktop when it launched. It was max memory and 2gb, would’ve cost me £2400. Same config today is around £4000. Who knew how much I’d regret not keeping my preorder. 😢

I recently switched from Google workspace to @proton.me’s workspace. So far I’m not having too much trouble and I also gained a replacement for 1Password along the way. Lumo is still way behind the competition. Still I’m willing to accept compromises to support a European privacy focused non-profit.

It’s pretty terrifying how many people aren’t able to detect AI voices in content. I certainly have been fooled once or twice but there’s always a tell in the end. I wonder how much content I’ve watched where I haven’t known.

I just uninstalled Claude cli. It’s like a gambling slot machine and I pull the lever and sometimes get the code that I want. But now my nd brain is really struggling to get out there and code for myself, and endlessly asking a tool to make changes doesn’t feel rewarding at all.

Stop buying games for your steam library until you’re actually going to play them. You’re just depreciating your money over time.

I got 🤬 at ActionMailer in Rails and cranked out a way to do email in Rails with better ergonomics calls Supermail. There's not much to it other than its a much more intuitive way of creating, managing, and sending emails in Rails. beautifulruby.com/code/superma...
