🗓️ Three months ago today #Iran shut off access to the global internet. While connectivity has now largely returned, metrics indicate that users still face heavy filtering, similar to the interim period between the January protests and the start of the war.

Graph from NetBlocks showing network connectivity in Iran from 24 February 2026 up to 28 May 2026. The y-axis represents normalized connectivity, ranging from 0% to 100%, and the x-axis represents the date. The green line representing Iran's observed international internet connectivity is high during the initial time period, with a sharp drop on the morning of 28 February. The ongoing drop in connectivity aligns with a nation-scale internet blackout imposed by authorities after joint military strikes by the US and Israel. Ongoing recovery is visible. The minimum and current connectivity levels are 1% and 86%, respectively. The chart has a dark background with a red horizontal arrow labeled 'SHUTDOWN' indicating the disruption period with annotations at the start and end of the chart indicating the periods of heavy filtering (reading 'Heavy filtering' in orange print) and NetBlocks logo and Mapping Internet Freedom slogan in the lower left corner.

A bit confused here. Sure I've seen some scans from known MuddyWater associated IPs ....but 3000 attacks every minute? And uh....attacks to/from Iranian infrastructure? Nah - overhyped

Fort Bragg is named for Braxton Bragg — a literal traitor who had been in the U.S. Army, enslaved more than 100 people, and became a Confederate general. Trump just bragged ... about renaming the base Fort Bragg (from Fort Liberty) b/c ... you know, ending woke. And, the racism.

Who was Fort Bragg named after? The South’s worst, most hated general.

Mike Pence and Ron DeSantis say they would restore the Fort Bragg name if elected. Its namesake was a “merciless tyrant” who helped lose the Civil War.
