All good plans….. Got a text about a foster need. Meet Chestnut. 4 mos old surrender. Had an old leg fracture that needed repair. He weighs 4.8 lbs. Also he’s a burrower. That last pic is him in my legs in my chair.

The foster dogs got picked up Tuesday and they will be looking for a rescue to take them for longer term fostering for socializing. I’m going away some weekends in Sept and looking to do some day trips, so I’m taking the rest of the month off from fostering.
I am on a zoom call right now with people all over the country and one international person and we are all getting internet unstable messages. Is there a known zoom issue?
Foster pups update. They are staying here until Tuesday. The car terrifies them, so Tuesday SPCA staff will come here and get them. They are making progress, but I cannot see them being successfully adopted yet with how scared they are.
The current fosters dogs are being placed into a rescue for longer term socialization. There has been progress is a week, but they are going to need months. They go back to SPCA Saturday and I may have a new foster the same day. Just one this time.

Hamilton Market on WBAL this morning!! Looking great! I went there was n Friday and got some great cheese.
Night 1. It’s been a minute since I’ve had dogs that didn’t just follow me around. These 2 will not even go to the backyard w/o their leashes. I’m going to sleep downstairs since this spot by the front door is the spot they’ve decided is safe. I’ve brought their food & water over too.
New fosters! Yes that is plural. Meet Rueben (in front) and Enzo. 3 year old bonded brothers. They are very shy and a wee anxious. We know about anxiety in the house, so the plan is very low stimuli and stress for these 2.
