Meet the Press: “Is a vote for a Republican candidate a vote for the Trump agenda?" Senator Tim Scott: "There's no doubt that President Trump has said himself that the midterm election is about him…His agenda, without any question, is on the ballot."

Being arrested by cunts like the met and going to prison are two different things entirely. I got arrested by the met in Brixton during the 1973 trouserpress riots but only received community service lift fondling weekend retreats. BTW the Scottish police don't arrest PA protesters, just the met.

England is on the wrong side of history. With genocide, racism, misogyny, climate collapse and how it treats neighbouring countries. I don't believe in karma, but drought is a great levelling device on a warming planet.

Peaceful protest leads to terrorism charges speaks for itself, it's truly insane. How many arrests have we seen during the same timespan with regards to those using intimidation, anonymity, and organised aggression relating to race and immigration? (I'm genuinely curious). Human solidarity, nah...

Feels like this clip of Trump saying 🇺🇸 can’t fund daycare or health care because we have to only pay for (pointless) wars — and states should raise their taxes instead — is getting memory-holed👇🏽🤔 @TheDemocrats

BREAKING: Mike Johnson is reportedly worried that, if Democrats release all the Epstein Files in January, the only thing history will remember him for as America's 56th Speaker of the House is protecting pedophile billionaires from justice for three years.

So gas indirectly affects forward prices, through underdelivery risk. Because future trades are done months ahead of real time, this effect is entirely independent of how much renewable generation is available on a given day. And nothing to do with the day ahead price.

Traders set their futures prices by hedging for under delivery. If a seller underdelivers, they are exposed to the imbalance price. Imbalance prices in short markets are determined by the marginal upwardly flexible plant which is usually gas fired.

Yes, gas price increases arr the biggest driver of UK electricity bills. But I do wish people would stop blathering about "setting the power price". There is no single power price in the UK. Over 70% of electricity in UK is traded in the futures markets.

Gas, not renewables, is the biggest driver of UK electricity bills. Pricier gas explains nearly 90% of the rise in household bills since 2020. Gas plants still set the power price most of the time. Cutting gas is the surest way to cut bills. janrosenow.substack.com/p/realism-ne...
